Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 30, 2026
At AICQD, we are committed to helping people transform their lives through discipline and data. Your privacy is fundamental to the trust required for behavioral change. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information across our website (www.aicqd.com) and the Vacedo mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide a personalized behavioral intervention experience:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication details provided during sign-up.
- Behavioral Data: Records of device usage, including "puff" counts and timestamps generated by Vacedo hardware or manual entry.
- Health & Biometric Data: With your explicit consent, we access heart rate and activity data via native health frameworks (Apple HealthKit / Google Fit) to provide "Heart Trend" visualizations.
- Voice & Audio Metadata: To support voice-activated summaries (Siri/Shortcuts), the app utilizes native voice modules. We do not record or store ambient audio; voice processing is handled via system-level APIs.
- Device Information: Bluetooth (BLE) identifiers and hardware firmware versions required for secure device pairing and synchronization.
2. Use of Information
Your data is used to empower your journey toward habit transformation:
- Behavioral Insights: To generate the charts, trends, and summaries that help you visualize your progress.
- Product Iteration: As part of our "Safe-to-Fail" development culture, anonymized data helps us refine our AI motion gates and hardware sensitivity.
- Communication: To provide support and updates regarding your pilot study participation.
- Security: To enforce password-protected pairing and secure data transmission between your physical unit and the mobile app.
3. Data Storage & Snapshots
We implement specific protocols to ensure your data remains your own:
- Local Snapshots: Voice summaries and shortcut "snapshots" are stored locally on your device. These are strictly cleared upon signing out of the application or session expiration to prevent unauthorized access.
- Hardware Storage: Custom security PINs are stored securely in the internal filesystem of the Vacedo hardware.
4. Medical Disclaimer
AICQD and Vacedo are behavioral intervention tools. Our services and hardware are NOT intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition, nor are they a replacement for professional medical advice. The technology provided is currently in a pilot/prototype phase as part of our Proof of Clinical Relevance (POCR) journey.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Information is only shared with:
- Trusted Service Providers: Tools required to operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting or secure API services).
- Legal Requirements: Only when strictly required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures, including GATT-layer password protection for hardware and secure token-based authentication for our mobile platform, to protect your data from unauthorized access.
7. Your Rights & Values
In alignment with our core value of Community & Support, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. We believe in "doing life together," which means we respect your right to control your digital footprint.
For any data requests or privacy concerns, please contact us at: contact@aicqd.com.
8. Changes to this Policy
As AICQD scales and our technology evolves, we may update this policy. We will notify active pilot participants of any significant changes via the Vacedo app or email.
